St Albans Community Strategy 2026-2035

A 20-point plan to enrich lives in a flourishing community.

Sitting behind the strategy are over 700 suggestions gathered from local residents in a survey of the community.

In order to form the top 20 projects decision criteria was based on:

  • How many times an item was suggested in the survey

  • The 'fit' with SARA's constitutional brief

  • Likelihood of an item happening in the short-term

  • Appropriateness

  • Priority

  • Cost/Benefit ratios

The strategy model is intended to serve and support the whole local community - ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and benefit.
