About the event
Local St Albans resident, Dr Jane Simpson is launching her fourth poetry collection, Imagined Scar. Among the 47 poems are four prize winners in international poetry competitions. Simpson has produced a collection spanning her diagnosis, surgery, treatment and family history of breat cancer. More than a medical journey, the book reaches beyond, to history, science and art. The launch is on International Breat Cancer Day and is being launched by Lianne Dalziel
