Location: WEA, 59 Gloucester Street Time: November 10 from 1:00pm -5:00pm Description: A series of speakers will outline how to run your home using alternative sources of energy. Speakers include:
Ian Crumpton, a resident who has had his house retrofitted with solar power and is now building a wind generator
John Veix, of Solar electric Specialists.
Mike Evans, of Voltmotive (NZ) Ltd, who will speak on powering vehicles with electricity
Alister Gardiner will talk broadly about marine energy technologies.
Nick Gerritsen will speak about making fuel from agricultural waste and algae
