Open day at Rehua Marae celebrates Matariki

Location: Rehua Marae, Springfield Road Time: June 29 10am-4pm Description: The open day includes a jewellery workshop (bookings only) Mahi Toi, Mirimiri, Kapa Haka, Raranga, storytelling and Christchurch City Library children’s activities. Presentations include Rongoa Maori and Mataraki. The day will finish with a hangi (pre sales only) and Karakia Whakamutunga. The open day at the marae is the culmination of a number of Rehua Marae events starting on June 25, celebrating Matariki.
