Eight young pupils at St Albans Primary School have been helping to trial computer game software The Number Race to improve their numeracy skills, according to this recent Press article.

Software tools are being developed by people like University of Canterbury’s Dr Anna Wilson, to assist those who have difficulty with numbers. These games were originally developed at an institute in Paris.

If you would like to check out this software, the Number Cruncher, aimed at 8+ age group, can be downloaded from thenumbercatcher.com
